But when it comes to decisions on where to spend one's money, it is always a matter of prioritization. There is also a weird conception out there that only the rich elite buys these services. Not the case! Our average home cleaning customers are typical middle-income people. How can they afford professional cleaning help, you ask? Let's do a bit of math real quick, we promise it won't get boring:
An average Freska customer gets a regular 3 h home cleaning every two weeks. The hourly cleaning price is 255 SEK and it amounts up to 26 cleanings per year. If you take the total annual cleaning price and spread it across the year, the cost per day is 55 SEK. Now in Sweden we have this beautiful thing called tax deduction where the government reimburses you for 50 % of the total cost for the year.
So the customer only ends up paying 55 SEK. Pretty freaking cool, right?
5,2 €, the price of a cup of latte these days? Well, it's also the price for 72 hours of a trained professional cleaning your home and you getting to focus on other things, or just zone out.
YIKES, PROJECT MUCH?
Many people don't like to cook, drive cars, pull out teeth or dabble with electric circuits. Does that mean that chefs, Formula 1 drivers, dentists and engineers hate their jobs. The same thing with home cleaning—folks don't particularly enjoy cleaning because they might not have sufficient time, energy, skills, tools, motivation or plain old personal preference to do it.
